About Cotton Mendenhall

Cotton Mendenhall is a native Dallasite and longtime Bryan Place resident of nearly 30 years. Cotton began his career in education as a teacher and school counselor and earned his Master’s degree in Counseling. He has been serving clients in real estate since 2003 and is proud to be part of The Chris Hickman Group.

Cotton has helped buyers and sellers throughout Dallas, the surrounding areas, and Cedar Creek Lake, with a special passion for guiding first-time clients through the process with clear communication and steady support from showing to closing. He also brings valuable experience in investment and estate transactions. With deep local roots, extensive market knowledge, strong negotiating skills, and a personable approach, he gives his clients a distinct advantage whether buying or selling. His recognitions include regular placement on the Ebby Halliday Company Honor Roll, D Magazine Best Realtors, and The Dallas Voice Readers’ Voice Award.

He is a board member of the Bryan Place Neighborhood Association and the Bryan Place Swimming Pool Association, a supporter of the Dallas Arboretum, and a member of the Henderson County Board of REALTORS®, which serves the Cedar Creek Lake area — reflecting his strong commitment to the communities he serves.

Cotton is a member of MetroTex, the Texas Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®, and holds the GRI designation along with certifications in negotiation and home marketing.

Cotton and his partner Lance live in Dallas and enjoy staying active, tackling home projects, exploring the arts and culture of Santa Fe, spending time in Provincetown during the summers, and relaxing at their lake home at Cedar Creek.
