About Julie Walkup

Julie Walkup is a resident of Frisco, Texas and has lived in the DFW area for over 30 years. After growing up in West Texas she attended the University of North Texas and received a degree in Gerontology, (The Studies of Aging). She has spent her career working in the senior living industry and helping families navigate the very complex healthcare system especially as the aging process begins. From a very early age, Julie was naturally drawn to older people, so being able to spend her career in the field she is so passionate about was the perfect formula.

 

With over 25 years working in the industry, she has vast experience in understanding the market and knowing the best resources needed for every individual or family she has assisted. In 2013 she became a Certified Care Manager, and still is an active member of the Aging Life Care Association where she is an Advanced Professional and is the also the DFW Aging Live Care Association chapter coordinator.

 

She has lived all over DFW area from Frisco, Plano, the Park Cities, to Greenway Parks, and beyond, and has knowledge of many areas to best assist clients in finding the best area to purchase a home.

 

In her free time, she enjoys fashion and interior design, she is also an avid dog lover. Julie and her husband have two fur babies, Charlie and Foster. They also enjoy traveling and spending time with their families.
